Castlebar Mitchels  Hurling AGM was held last Saturday week in the Sportlann a large crowd attended and a lively discussion took place on all aspects of the club performance both on and off the field in 2016. All officers were returned unopposed and a new vice president Gerry Lane was also  elected. John Waldron gave his usual excellent report on all activities within the club over the year and Ger sheridan & Martin Clarke enlightened us on the financial state of club . Our sponsors were profusely thanked for their generous donations to our club over the past year. The  executive committee was elected and will be the driving force of the club for the coming year, the chairman then closed the meeting.
