At the recent Connacht GAA U14 Hurling Tournament in Bekan, the Mayo U14 squad claimed the Mickey Cunniffe Shield after a 5-13 to 5-3 win over Roscommon. The win was a fitting end to the Mayo sides summer campaign, in which they also won the All-Ireland U14B Championships held in Abbottstown in August.
